There are five village namely Manpur, Collinpur, Templemeyo, Herbertta Bad and Tirur situated in the Velly of the hill one side sarounded by the Bay of  Bengal and very near to Sea-Shore. In the year 1949 the first  Bengali settlement was started from here  including Tushnabad Bengali Basthi.  Collinpur is a small Village situated 38 Km away from Port Blair and its comes under the Gram Panchayat Collinpur after it's new formation and separation from Tushnabad Gram Panchayat.  The village Manpur and Collinpur are having beautiful sea-beaches Kurmadera Beach and Collinpur Beach respectively.  The peoples are very simple and their main income from plantation of Coconut, areceonut and cattle but insufficient. Hence, tourism may be the another source of income of the rural people even though they live a  peaceful life in their respective village.  They gather at the market in evening time. All the village are well connected by the road and regular Bus services available from Port Blair and other cities like Chouldar, Bhatubasti , Ferrargunj, Wimberlygunj, Bambooflat. etc. It's 4 Km from Collinpur to Tirur and the end of the settlement area therafter the  Jarawa prohibited area started.  Jarawas of Andaman is one of the premitive trives tirbes of Andaman. There also a Police Both which may also lookafter the Jarawa prohibited area.  No one can entere inthe prohibited area without the permission of the Competent Authority.
